SB 602 - This adds to the list of donees for state surplus property campgrounds that provide services for charitable organizations (501(c)3)) that provide services for disabled, disadvantage and other youth activities.
Under current law there are two methods to handle state
surplus property, donation and auction. Donation is allowed to
volunteer fire associations, other political subdivisions, and
"eligible donees" as that term is defined in the federal surplus
property program, including schools, not-for-profit organizations
connected with health and education and certain not-for-profit
organizations.
